Chat, ping, invoke and content-generation examples may send real billable requests. Check the model, balance, rate and minimum before running them. GET /v1/models checks authentication and the catalogue only. Set up environment variables safely

Base URL to paste

OpenAI SDKs generally use a URL ending in /v1; Anthropic SDKs use the root URL. Avoid adding /v1 twice. Protocol compatibility does not guarantee every provider feature.

Where to place file / fill Settings

Settings → Model Provider

Add an Anthropic or OpenAI Compatible provider. Do not leave Host blank — an incorrect Host results in 404.

Verify connection

Send a short “ping” message.
Dashboard → Usage shows the request.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Reason	How to handle
404	Host is missing /v1 or has an extra /v1 for the selected provider type.	Anthropic dùng https://thapi.cloud; OpenAI Compatible dùng https://thapi.cloud/v1.
401	The key is incorrect or was pasted with whitespace.	Create a new key and paste it again without spaces.
